In honour of the Mountain Bike World Cup Champion from Kirchberg: The NEW "Lisi Osl Trail"
The Kirchberg locals are proud of their Lisi (photo): The 24 year old heroine from the Brixental won the Mountain Bike Overall World Cup 2009 in spectacular fashion. The new "Lisi Osl Trail" on the Gaisberg, and named in her honour awaits downhill fans this summer - and the trail also deserves its name. A total of 450meters in altitude difference must be negotiated along a track 2,620 meters in length. The trail direction follows the natural contours of the terrain. The difficulty level of the path is graded S1 to S2 (easy to middle), and is not only a highlight for downhill enthusiasts, but also suitable for single trail novices. Comfortable: the course starts immediately at the top of the Gaisberg lift. Bike will be transported up the mountain by a special designed contraption. Tip: the sunny terrace of the Gaisbergstüberlis a good place for the freeriders to relax and refresh between the adrenalin rush each ride.
