What to watch out for when mountain biking.

| For your own safety adhere to the rules and be aware of unexpected obstacles in your path | |
| - | Ride with controlled speed, particularly round bends and corners, and be aware that obstacles are always a possibility (i.e. damage to road, stones, branches, farm animals, cattle grids, gates, tractors and forestry maschinery, and authorised vehicles!) |
| - | Be careful of hikers and walkers, and only overtake at walking pace. |
| - | Know your own ability and be aware of the difficulty of the route you plan to take. Wear a helmet and check your equipment before every bike ride! |
| - | Stop if routes are closed, and accept that this route's function is primarily for farming and forestry. Close all animal gates! |
| - | Be careful of nature and wildlife, keep to the marked routes, and end your bike tour before dusk. |
| - | Don't leave rubbish behind! |
