The "BRIXENTALER KochArt", a grouping of seven innkeepers, wants to help positioning the Brixental as gourmet region. The focus of this idea lies in high quality products from local agricultures.
Austria, in particular the inner alpine regions, enjoy an outstanding reputation as gourmet country. Small structured agricultures, organic farming of vegetables and fruits, natural cattle breeding in small herds, as well as cultivated mountain pastures are a major factors for excellent quality of agricultural products.
The "BRIXENTALER KochArt” aims to use regional products in their cuisine and to separately decelerate these in the menus.
