That was the Balloon Cup 2007...

From 15th – 21st September this year, the int. Tirol Ballon Cup took place in Kirchberg for the 18th time. Approximately 20 Teams from Austria, Germany, Great Britain and Netherlands met up in Kirchberg to compete for “air supremacy”. The weather God took mercy upon us and the balloon riders and so we had beautiful conditions at the beginning and at the end of the week. Some locals and visitors took the opportunity to get a bird’s eye view of Brixental and booked a ride. The “Balloon Night Spectacle” on Saturday was beautiful as well, starting with an procession of Balloon Models from the center and ending up with a gigantic firework display.
